MyJury is a community-powered app that helps photographers make difficult decisions about their images. Whether you're choosing between edits, preparing for a competition, building a portfolio, or deciding what to share online, MyJury gives you honest, anonymous feedback through simple community voting.
There are three steps:
- Upload a single photo or a two-image comparison.
- Other photographers vote anonymously.
- Once your submission has received 10 votes, voting closes and you see the community's decision and a full breakdown of the results.
Yes. Voting on other photographers' images is completely free. Submitting your own photos costs credits. You receive 1 free credit when you sign up, and you can earn more by voting or, where available, by watching a short rewarded ad. Credit packs are also available to purchase if you'd like more submissions.
You must be at least 18 years old. When you first open the app you'll be asked to confirm your age and accept our Terms of Service & EULA.
There are two submission types, and each costs 1 credit:
- Single Image Review — Submit one photo and choose your goal: Competition, Portfolio, or Social Media. Jurors answer the matching question — for example, "Would you submit this to a competition?"
- Comparison Review — Upload two versions and ask the community which one is stronger.
Yes. When your goal is Competition, you can either pick a category yourself or tick "I'd like the community to help me choose the best category" and shortlist up to 3 categories. Jurors can then suggest which one fits best, and you'll see a category recommendation with your results.
Available categories: Landscape, Street, Portrait, Architecture, Fine Art, Abstract, Wildlife, Documentary, Aerial, Conceptual, Macro, Long Exposure, Night/Low Light, Photomanipulation, and Open.
Upload two images and let the community choose between them. Comparison types are:
- Color vs Black & White
- Edit Comparison
- Crop Comparison
- Image Selection (two different photos)
- Other
Yes. To prevent spam and keep queue times fair, the number of submissions you can have in review at the same time depends on how many votes you've cast in total:
- Under 100 votes — up to 3 active submissions
- 100–999 votes (Contributor) — up to 5 active submissions
- 1,000–4,999 votes (Dedicated Juror) — up to 10 active submissions
- 5,000–9,999 votes (Expert Contributor) — up to 15 active submissions
- 10,000+ votes (Community Pillar & Legend) — up to 20 active submissions
A slot frees up as soon as one of your submissions closes. Credits never expire, so if you buy a larger pack you can keep submitting as slots become available — or unlock more slots by voting. Your current limit is shown on the Submit screen and in Settings.
Each juror answers Yes, No, or Not Sure for a single image, or picks the left/top or right/bottom image (or Can't Decide) for a comparison. When your submission reaches 10 votes it closes and you get:
- The community decision and the winning percentage, based on the decisive votes ("Not Sure" / "Can't Decide" answers are counted but don't tip the result).
- A confidence level — from "Very Strong Agreement" down to "No Clear Consensus".
- A separate breakdown of how verified members voted, when any took part.
- A category recommendation, if you asked for help choosing one.
We'll send you a notification when your results are ready.
Open the Results tab and tap the trash icon on the submission, or open the submission and tap Delete. It's removed from the community immediately and permanently erased, including its images, within 30 days.
Yes. Jurors don't see who submitted an image, and photographers can't see who voted on theirs. Images are judged on their own merit — no bias, no social pressure.
Yes. Turn on Swipe to vote in Settings → Voting: drag the photo right for Yes and left for No. For comparisons, swipe toward the image you prefer. Not Sure and Can't Decide stay as buttons.
You can cast up to 100 votes per day. We also ask that you take a moment to look at each image — extremely fast voting is treated as a sign of automated or careless voting and isn't counted.
MyJury runs an automated anti-fraud system that watches for vote spikes, speed-clicking, and coordinated or duplicate accounts. Suspicious activity is flagged for review, and accounts found gaming the system are suspended and may lose earned credits.
- Vote: every 10 votes you cast earns you 1 credit, added automatically.
- Watch a rewarded ad: tap "Watch Ad" on the Submit screen or in Settings → Credits & Purchases to earn 1 credit, up to 3 ad credits per day.
You can hold up to 100 free (earned) credits at a time. Once you reach that cap, submit a photo to start earning again. Purchased credits don't count toward this cap.
Rewarded ads aren't available everywhere. They're hidden in countries where our ad partner can't serve ads or where sanctions apply, and on VPN, proxy, or datacenter connections (Apple iCloud Private Relay is fine). You can always earn credits by voting instead. On iOS you may also be asked for tracking permission — this is optional and doesn't affect whether you can earn credits.
Yes. Credit packs of 10, 20, and 50 credits are available in Settings → Credits & Purchases. First-time buyers can also get a one-off 3-credit Starter pack. Prices are shown in your local currency by the App Store or Google Play. Purchased credits never expire.
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), and refunds are handled by them under their own policies. Credits that have already been spent on submissions can't be refunded. Please contact Apple or Google support for purchase-related issues.
You choose in Settings → Privacy → Profile Visibility:
- Visible — you appear on the Top Jurors leaderboard and other signed-in members can open your profile.
- Hidden — you're not on the leaderboard and nobody else can open your profile.
Your profile shows your display name, country, profile photo, website and Instagram links, join date, badges, professional verification status, reviewed professional title, optional publication or organization, and vote statistics. You need a display name to appear on the leaderboard. Your submitted photos and individual votes are never shown on your profile.
Top Jurors ranks the community's most active voters. Tap the trophy button in the middle of the tab bar to open it, and switch between All Time and This Month — the monthly board resets on the 1st, so newer jurors can reach the top too. Your own rank is always pinned at the top, with how many votes you need to move up. Tap any name to see that juror's profile.
Members with a Hidden profile, without a display name, or who you've blocked (or who've blocked you) aren't listed.
The leaderboard started fresh at launch on 3 October 2026, so everyone began on equal footing: it counts votes cast since then. Your badges and the vote statistics on your profile still count every vote you've ever cast.
Badges recognise members who help the community by voting. They're awarded by total votes cast, and each one also raises your active submission limit:
- Contributor — 100 votes
- Dedicated Juror — 1,000 votes
- Expert Contributor — 5,000 votes
- Community Pillar — 10,000 votes
- Legend — 50,000 votes
No. Badges are recognition only. Every vote counts equally regardless of badge level.
The blue check badge beside a member's name means MyJury has reviewed their identity and relevant professional background. For photographers, this can include demonstrated experience, professional work, or recognized photography awards. The badge may also recognize a photo editor, curator, or photography educator; the person's reviewed role appears below their name.
Verified members are jurors like everyone else. Their votes have exactly the same weight, and verification gives no extra influence over a verdict. It is not a ranking, a contribution badge, or a guarantee of better judgment. Results may include a separate informational breakdown of votes from verified members.
A verified member can update their publication or organization, such as Fstoppers or Bored Panda. These affiliation details are supplied by the member and are not automatically verified by the badge.
Yes, 100%. You keep full copyright and ownership of every photo you upload. We never claim ownership of your work and never use your images to train AI models.
Only signed-in jurors, while your submission is in the voting queue — and they don't know it's yours. Your photos are never shown on your profile or in any public gallery.
Jurors see a reduced-size preview and can zoom into a larger view to judge detail. Your stored original is private and can only be accessed by you. All images are kept in private storage and delivered through short-lived secure links. As with anything shown on a screen, we can't technically prevent someone from taking a screenshot.
Only if you opt in. This is off by default. If you turn on "Feature my images (always credited)" in Settings → Privacy → Promotional Usage, you allow MyJury, its affiliated networks, and media partners to feature your submitted images across official websites, social media, print/digital publications, exhibitions, and video platforms (including YouTube showcases and compilations) for promotional and educational purposes.
Whenever your image is featured, your photographer name will always be credited.
You can switch it on or off at any time. When you turn it off, we stop using your images in anything new. Materials already published while it was on — such as a YouTube video or a printed publication — can't always be withdrawn.
While voting, tap the options menu on any photo:
- Hide Post — removes it from your voting queue.
- Report Inappropriate Content — choose a reason (Inappropriate Content, Spam, AI Generated Image, DMCA / Copyright, or CSAM / Illegal Content).
- Block Photographer — you won't see their submissions or profile, and they won't see yours. Manage blocks in Settings → Blocked Photographers.
To report a member's profile (for example an offensive name or photo, impersonation, or spam links), open it from Top Jurors and tap ••• → Report Profile. You can block them from the same menu.
Every report is reviewed by a human moderator within 24 hours. You can also email reports@myjuryapp.com.
Go to Settings → Account Data → Delete My Account, or email hello@myjuryapp.com. Your profile and submissions are hidden immediately and permanently erased, including images, within 30 days. The votes you cast are kept only in anonymised form so other photographers' results stay accurate.
